I have been screaming about this release since a source told me about its possible release, and I am excited! Not much else to say about the game since I’ve already posted it before, but you can read just a bit more about it here.
I’m told that the title of the English release will be Scandal in the Spotlight. Kyohei’s Main Story, Epilogue, and Sequel will be available upon release as well as the an “advanced gift” for buying the stories for a limited time. Not only that, but if you buy those three stories at any time during March, you will be able to read the Sequel Epilogue in advanced FOR FREE until the end of April. It also looks like, once again, we will not be having the Invite a Friend Campaign. There will also be Special Ending Sets available for those who have bought the Main Stories and would like an easier way to unlock both endings. Not only that, but players who buy the Special Ending Sets will be able to view the usual ending movie, which in this case would be a love song, with vocals. And I don’t mean more English dubbing vocals. You can listen to Revance singing in the movies, with each guy being the main focus in their respective movies with their original Japanese vocals. After the uh… interesting outcome of Eisuke’s voiced stories in Kissed by the Baddest Bidder, I am beyond relieved to know that that stunt wasn’t pulled again. THANK YOU, VOLTAGE INC.!
To be honest, when Voltage Inc. was releasing so many stories with sneak peek Prologues recently, I honestly believed that one of those would be for this game. Unfortunately, they were all sneak peeks for Star-Crossed Myth. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s a great way to promote all the participating games as well as Star-Crossed Myth’s release, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed. Despite that, I’ve still been very much excited about this release, so I’m really happy to see that it’s making progress into the English release! And seeing as Sweet Cafe’s release is coming up as well, it wouldn’t surprise me if our first look at the game will be in Sweet Cafe itself!
It is set to be released in March.
There hasn’t been any official announcement on the release yet, so keep your eyes open for any announcements on Voltage Inc.’s Facebook page!
Happy playing!
