I honestly just found out like an hour ago while I was playing Joshua’s ending in GREE while playing the audio from 王子様のプロポーズ Love Tiara. At first, I was wondering if I could do a project where I would take the GREE game and apply the audio to it either in a playable format or video format (then thought maybe Voltage wouldn’t be too happy with that). Then I thought, “Hm, I’ve been checking in to see if we’d get a PARTY version of the one used in GREE, but I never thought of the possibility of Love Tiara being translated instead. I wonder.”
So I checked with my source and LOW AND BEHOLD!
*screaming in the distance*
Although Love Tiara still hasn’t released Glenn’s and Edward’s routes yet, we’re already being set to get an English release. Which isn’t all that strange, considering the story in Love Tiara is almost exactly the same as the original social version. I say “almost” because, from what I’ve heard, the Prologue is a lot shorter so chances are that other parts might be cut shorter, and, from what I’ve seen, some lines have been changed, added, or taken out.
While Love Tiara’s main difference from the original social version is the added (partial) voice acting, it so far doesn’t look like the English release will be seeing any voice acting, English or Japanese. We will, however, still be able to listen to the BGM and sound effects playing, so there’s that to look forward to. And you should, because the soundtrack is gorgeous!
I’m a bit busy right now, so I’ll have to cut this short. Can you blame me for wanting to get this out as soon as I found out?! I’ll add more once I have the time!
If there’s one thing I can say for sure after playing one portion of Joshua’s ending in GREE with the audio from Love Tiara, it’s this: The BGM adds a lot more emotion as you read the story, so be prepared to be drowning in feels!
