ゴシップガール～セレブな彼の誘惑～ is a game based on the hit American drama series Gossip Girls which is, in turn, based on the book series of the same name. This is the third Gossip Girl game based on the series released by Voltage Inc., the first being ゴシップガール～NYで恋の予感～, a social game released in 2012. It was then re-released in 2013 under the title ゴシップガール～セレブな彼の誘惑～, which continues to be updated on its social platforms, and ～NYで恋の予感～ was shut down. As far as I’m aware, though, the story is the same.
Unlike previous Voltage games where the stories differ between the app and social versions, it looks like this one will have the exact same story as with its social version.
It’s about time! I’ve been interested in this game for a while now, though I admit I never gave a care about the original American book or television series. I’ve had the thought of trying the show out, but that thought was always pushed away when I became doubtful of the series and whether or not I would like it. I’m still doubtful, but ah well.
The game includes characters from the series such as Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, Dan Humphrey, and Jenny Humphrey along with original characters.
The obtainable cast include:
- Alex Lambert, pushy × oresama
- Izaac Schnauzer, doS × cool
- Marc Jones, playboy × gentleman
If past releases are any indication, only the first one or two characters will be available upon release, which are Alex and Izaac.
Despite my avoidance of the original book and drama series, I’m actually really looking forward to this one! I’m been told that the social version story is really good, so I’m looking forward to it that much more! It’s still really early on so I still don’t have much info on it, but I’ll try to update when new info is released!
