Voltage Inc. has announced that it will be holding it’s second story writing and illustration contest for it’s ‘My Romance Series’.”
As stated on the English page of the contest,
“This contest is a project for finding new talent. We aim to find the next generation of exceptional writers and illustrators. The contest is open to the general public. Awards will be given out in both the scenario and illustration categories.”
In last year’s contest, their first, they recieved 755 illustration entries and 238 story entries. This year, they have added the International Illustration Section for the English market’s My Romance Series, which includes the Westernized games My Lover’s A Thief, Glass Stilettos in Manhatten, To Love & Protect, Knight of My Heart, My Killer Romance, and the newly released Intimate Business. While entries to this section will be accepted from all over the world, the winner’s work will be utilized in the North American market at Voltage’s subsidiary, Voltage Entertainment USA Inc.
Right now, only the illustration section is open for English entries. The two sections, the Illustration Section and the International Illustration Section, have different requirements for entry. You can find the rules, requirements, and, soon, the entry form here.
The contest is open to professionals and amateurs, and the deadline is 24:00 JST on Mon., September 30, 2013.
The entry period is from July 1st, 2013 to September 30th, 2013. The winners and awards will be announced in December and the winners will be contacted at the e-mail address submitted with the entries. The latest information concerning the prize will be announced on the same link.
