Sorry for the late post! Been pretty quiet in the Guild Wars community as of late. Some new things have become available, mostly gem shop related items. There’s also been new news concerning Class Specialty’s for the Heart of Thorns expansion, but I’ll get into that in another post! For now lets head into the new update!
– New Features and Content – Expansion Beta Loot Drops –
All events within Dry Top and the Silverwastes along with creature drops will now have a chance to drop a ‘Portal to the Heart of Maguuma’ item that will qualify a players account to participate in the upcoming Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns closed beta test. These drops will be available for a week or longer in order to have enough people participate for the test.
– Black Lion Trading Company Gem Store –
This is in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original Guild Wars:
- The new Balthazar’s Weapon Skins is available for one Black Lion Claim Ticket.
- The Chaos Weapon Skins have been reduced to one Black Lion Claim Ticket for a limited time.
- The Tormented Weapon Skins have been reduced to one Black Lion Claim Ticket for a limited time.
- Black Lion Chests have been updated:
- The Mini Snow Owl, Mini Hawk, and Mini Raven have been added as rare drops.
- The Following have been removed from the Black Lion Chests:
- Custom Arena Time Tokens
- Lions Arch Commemorative Dye Kit
- Lions Arch Survivors Dye Kit
- Mini Super Monkey
- Mini Super Spider
- Mini Super Bee Dog
- Mini Super Yeti
- Mini Super Raccoon
- Mini Super Banana
- The Baby Miniatures are returning. Mini Piglet and Mini Orange Kitten are available in the Toys Category of the Gem Story for 400 Gems each.
